I Am An Entrepreneur

Entrepreneur Vs Opportunity Seeker

There's definitely an interesting relationship between an entrepreneur and an opportunity seeker. The Opportunity Seeker: The opp seeker is one who gets involved with a business because of all the hype and money they truly thought they could earn without necessarily doing much to earn it. They're not providing value to someone else, they're not entrenching themselves with knowledge and education.  They saw the white board and the fancy flip chart of how much money they could earn by getting 2 who get 2, etc or some easy "push button" sales letter online where they could rake in millions IF they would "just" spend $20 bucks to "buy my stuff". They got involved thinking they'd magically get rich even though they have no idea of how to build a business or marketing in general. The Entrepreneur: The entrepreneur understands business...they understand marketing and seek understanding and knowledge cons...

Who Wants To Be An Internet Entrepreneur

Wikipedia defines an Internet Entrepreneur as "...... an   entrepreneur , an owner, founder or manager of an   Internet   based business undertaking who makes money through   risk   and/or   initiative " "  This list includes Internet company founders, and people brought on to companies for their entrepreneurship skills, not simply for their general business or accounting acumen, as is the case with some CEO's hired by companies started by entrepreneurs." From that definition, it follows that an Internet Entrepreneur is a BUSINESS OWNER that functions well on the internet and s/he makes money therefrom. Internet Entrepreneurship is as much a serious business as any other Traditional Business, the major differences though being that while the Netpreneur has the world as his market place through social media relationships and sharing, the traditional business person is limited to his location; again while the traditional business...

Healthy Eating For Entrepreneurs

When we think about the sacrifices entrepreneurs make to be successful, many of us think about time, sleep, and health.  How often do we hear stories of people downing six energy drinks every night while they build their product?  Then when you ask them why they don't exercise or eat well, the typical answer is that they don't have time.  This is an excuse that leads to health problems down the road.  This is proven by the fact that 69 percent of people in the U.S. are considered overweight or obese. Chef Jason Roberts has made it his mission to stop the unhealthy eating problem that is damaging so many lives. In his book  Good Food--Fast! ,  Jason offers recipes for healthy, gluten-free meals that busy people can still cook.  I had a chance to talk with Jason about his advice on eating well, and the effects health has on being a great entrepreneur.  Here are some of my takeaways from our conversation: 1....

5 Proven Secrets Of Highly Successful Entrepreneurs

“The entrepreneur in us sees opportunities everywhere we look, but many people see only problems everywhere they look. The entrepreneur in us is more concerned with discriminating between opportunities than he or she is with failing to see the opportunities.” – Michael Gerber But if you do think you’d like to be an entrepreneur, you will be rewarded for it.  Not only can you double (or even triple) your money every three years, you can also enjoy the many other benefits of being your own boss: the freedom to choose your own schedule the power to create your own products the excitement of being fully challenged the knowledge that you are providing an income for your employees My friend Anna W. asked me to help her start a business based on her love of music.  She’d been looking over her current retirement plan, and figured out that if she keeps her present job and continues to increase her responsibility and her income, she will be...

Successful Entrepreneurs Are Healthy Entrepreneurs

As an entrepreneur, your motivation and desire to be successful  career wise may be strong, but how strong is your body and health? Unfortunately, many entrepreneurs still place emphasis and  focus totally on their careers, filling their schedules with  networking and meetings with little emphasis placed on their health and fitness. They overlook their risk of developing a life threatening  "preventable" disease by telling themselves they will focus on getting fit and healthy when time permits.  But without health what kind of business can they expect to run? Truth is, if you want to have a successful long-term career you must make the connection between health and wealth. Exercising benefits your muscles, heart, lungs and cardio- vascular system but fitness is not strictly related to your body. Regular exercise also has serious implications for brain health as well. Those that engage in ph...
