The Old Order Is Giving Way To The New - Don't Wait

Over the last 100yrs, an interesting phenomenon occurred. The rise of the Corporation became the standard in society. The safe and respected place for people to exist in the work place was as an employee: * # Step   1: Go to school to learn how to be an employee.* *#Step 2: Find a company that will employ you.* *#Step 3: Work for that company for 35yrs.* *#Step 4: Retire( You discover that you can't retire comfortably after 35 years, so you keep working.* Now we are going through the biggest shift in any of our lifetimes. For a century, companies have paid people by the hour, by the week, by the month or by the year. That's changing on a global level. The world is moving toward a performance economy. And it is already happening. A paradigm shift is already taking place Here is what that means: In the future, you are only going to be paid for performance. *You wont be paid f...

Top 6 Conditions To Consider In Choosing A Good Business

1) Does the business idea have a USP (unique selling proposition)? Essentially, why will this business'products/services be better than any of the other competitors out there? If you're evaluating an affiliate program or MLM, be sure that the product / service you'll be reselling has a USP.  You also need to make sure as the reseller, that you can position yourself with your own unique selling proposition as to why the buyer should buy from you rather than another affiliate or distributor. 2) Is there a market for the business idea? Can you identify the people to whom you will be selling the products/services of your business? Is it a sizable marketplace?  Make sure that the business has a large target audience base. 3) Is there a demand for the business idea? Do people want the product/service you will be selling? Keep in mind, want and need are different.  While you might think people need your product, e.g. it saves time sorting sp...

I Am An Entrepreneur

Entrepreneur Vs Opportunity Seeker

There's definitely an interesting relationship between an entrepreneur and an opportunity seeker. The Opportunity Seeker: The opp seeker is one who gets involved with a business because of all the hype and money they truly thought they could earn without necessarily doing much to earn it. They're not providing value to someone else, they're not entrenching themselves with knowledge and education.  They saw the white board and the fancy flip chart of how much money they could earn by getting 2 who get 2, etc or some easy "push button" sales letter online where they could rake in millions IF they would "just" spend $20 bucks to "buy my stuff". They got involved thinking they'd magically get rich even though they have no idea of how to build a business or marketing in general. The Entrepreneur: The entrepreneur understands business...they understand marketing and seek understanding and knowledge cons...

Who Wants To Be An Internet Entrepreneur

Wikipedia defines an Internet Entrepreneur as "...... an   entrepreneur , an owner, founder or manager of an   Internet   based business undertaking who makes money through   risk   and/or   initiative " "  This list includes Internet company founders, and people brought on to companies for their entrepreneurship skills, not simply for their general business or accounting acumen, as is the case with some CEO's hired by companies started by entrepreneurs." From that definition, it follows that an Internet Entrepreneur is a BUSINESS OWNER that functions well on the internet and s/he makes money therefrom. Internet Entrepreneurship is as much a serious business as any other Traditional Business, the major differences though being that while the Netpreneur has the world as his market place through social media relationships and sharing, the traditional business person is limited to his location; again while the traditional business...
